Filigree Pendant #2090615 Sterling Silver, Fine Silver, Lab-grown Sapphire Sold © 2009

This filigree pendant is made of sterling and fine silver wire. The tiny fine silver wires within the sterling frame are each shaped by hand, placed within the frame and then soldered in place. An 8mm lab-grown* sapphire cabochon has been bezel set at the top of the pendant, and on the back of that bezel is a ring through which a necklace chain can be strung. The pendant will seem to float on the chain, as the bail is hidden in the back. * A lab-grown stone has the same properties and characteristics as the natural version, but since it's created in a lab it is less expensive.
