The construction of this necklace started with nine handmade glass cabochons, each with a seafoam green and a slightly greenish blue glass, alternating between blue on green and green on blue. Each cab is approximately 7/8" square, but since they are made by hand the exact size does vary. A fine and sterling silver bezel was custom made for each cab and they are linked together with sterling jump rings. The back of the bezels have a hammered texture, and overall they have a satin finish, contrasting nicely with the shiny glass. In the back there in a chain made from the same jump rings as those that connect each of the bezels. A simple hook clasp finishes it off. The chain and clasp also have a satin finish. More rings can easily be added to the chain if a longer length is desired.
